Foundation for Pottstown Education Awarded a Two-Year Grant

The Foundation for Pottstown Education (FPE) was recently awarded a two-year grant totaling $90,000 from the Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation (PAHWF).  This grant is awarded in support of the Education Foundation’s Administrative Operations.  A check for $50,000 was presented for year one of the approved grant. Pottstown Residency Program Update

In April 2017, the Foundation for Pottstown Education Board of Directors approved a new initiative to increase the number of employee-owned and occupied residences within the Borough of Pottstown by making homes more affordable.  This initiative, the Residency Program, provides eligible applicants who work for the Pottstown School District, up to $10,000 in the form of a forgivable loan.  The …

Alumni Memorabilia Donation

The Foundation for Pottstown Education showcased a few memorabilia items that were donated to the Pottstown School District Alumni Gallery. Among the items were three report cards from 1915-1916, a brick from PHS when it was located at Chestnut and Penn Streets and a pin and class ring from 1949.
